As an Indigenous person in Canada who attended a former residential school that is now a university, I would love to see that perspective included in such a study.

Steven Brust! I read one of his books from the Taltos series when I was about 12 and then spent the next 20 years trying to remember enough about the book to locate it again and discovered 20+ set in the world. My biggest love is this series.

The Vlad Taltos series by Steven Brust was inspired by a homebrew campaign and is a ton of fun! The series is pretty huge so far (17 books with another two on the way to finish it, as well as a prequel series) but each book is also an engaging standalone story. I hope you check them out :)
