4/4 to conclude on the financial side: we spent the last 3 years developing our game without ANY funding. It was tough, and we had to slow the development several times with the lack of funds.
If your project has a playable demo, I highly suggest a crowfunding, as we'll very likely do our own, too!

2/ But we are lucky enough to have access to public funds, reserved for game development, either predev or full development until we publish our game. We also reached out to specialized organizations to help us deal with banks, other financial helps or all the administrative stuff!

I won't lie, it was not easy and thoughts of giving up crossed my mind several times during tough times, but the joy of finally be able to achieve it, after all this time 100% makes up for it !
