On streaming services I used to keep Disney+ subscribed even when not watching something specific. Now they've jacked the price so much I don't bother. And I think that's pretty common. The more they charge the more people will leave.

You know, I have to remind myself that as Gregory is humiliating the Emperor it's only been 30 years since the rock bottom of the Papacy under the demon from hell. I'd always assumed that it was a more steady recovery from the Pornocracy yet it's gone from 0 to 11 real quick!

On the one hand I wasn't going to pay Disney to watch it as I have no interest. But on the other I'm mad you guys and others who wanted to cant see it.

It's almost like they're wanting to fail at this point. Some of their biggest markets are overseas.

Because let's face it, Doctor Who has never gotten by on special effects alone. The reason you can look past the dodgy effects of the classic series is the acting and stories.

I watched the Dalek Invasion of Earth once as a kid. Literally the only things I remember are the end and the Doctor opening a Robomans radio and saying "Ooh, highly advanced." Which was funny because even in the late 90s it wasn't let alone 2150!

The first season was a bit of a mess with un-likable characters, teleporting armies, and Rube Goldberg volcanoes. Yet somehow the 2nd season was even worse and I gave up watching after a couple episodes. It's such a shame because it is such a great field to tell stories in but....

I was hoping he'd get it, as I consider him a bit of an underrated gem amongst the lineup. His father and son get more credit, but this Louis was done dirty by Dumas.
