Will it be opt-out until an update re-opts us in? I swear, I've turned off link previews a few times on the same profile multiple times now... I want ZERO AI in my browser. Please, just render the page, that's pretty much all I'm asking of my web browser...

Maybe he should come out and say that as a correction, that way we know what he said and meant instead and he can be held accountable for his own words.

This indicates to me that they have not learned, and plan to continue using genAI. In general it all comes across as "Sorry we got caught." This is why I don't forgive them, and don't think they should be forgiven right now. They show no actual remorse for their actions.

With this shitty non-apology I highly encourage anybody who gave them your money to refund and let Steam know about them violating the distribution agreement (In case you're unaware, the Steam Distribution Agreement requires that ANY use of genAI is clearly disclosed, they have not done this)

Completely. Fucking. Unacceptable. Placeholder text doesn't need AI. Bottom line. And then justifying your bs with "Oh just one little thing we promise! Oh yeah but we wanna keep using AI." No. Absolutely not. No AI, period. It is a garbage plagiarism machine that wrecks the environment.
