I don't believe it when anyone tries to say artists are gatekeeping creativity because every artist I know is so generous. Lots of us sharing tutorials, free brushes and assets, share our manus, etc! There's no shortage of info or free tools out there if you're willing to look and learn.

When I feel like drawing, I grab some pencils and a sketchbook that cost me like 6 bucks. Pretty damn accessible.
And there is a million fantastic tutorials out there shared for free by artists passionate about their craft. You aren't being "gatekept", you are lazy. Dictionary case of skill issue.
