That was going to be my suggestion too! Caramelizing onions isn't hard, but it does take forever. Thankfully they freeze well, so if you're going to make some, might as well make a big batch and freeze some.

See, if they'd answered with an "oh shit, that's not what we meant and we'll fix it immediately!" instead of a "waaaah, you're being mean to our Small Business!!!", I would be willing to give them the benefit of doubt.

Other than that it wasn't a bad book, I'm just too old and cranky at this point to read books I don't enjoy if I'm reading for fun.
I should have quit the one that started with the FMC fatshaming a violence victim on the first page, but I wanted to see what her redeeming qualities were.

First chapter. Funnily enough, that particular book wasn't even that bad, it was just very clearly Not For Me. Sold as a sci-fi adventure, but it was all domestic life with kids, in space. Which is fine! But not what I wanted. Though I appreciate it made it clear so fast and didn't waste my time.

Bat teeth are very small and sharp, so the bite probably wouldn't hurt.
The infection you would very likely be getting, on the other hand...
(I live in a non-rabies country, but wildlife still has widely different bacteria floras. Don't breastfeed bats.)

Admittedly I'm no great artist, but I can draw pretty decently if I can keep focus long enough, and even when I can afford fancy supplies, the supply I keep coming back to is cheap BIC pens. There's just something about how they feel in my hand and on paper that most fancy stuff doesn't provide.

Though then I buy my books and I get people yelling about overconsumption and not supporting libraries, because people on the internet just want to start fights no matter what you do.
(Overconsumption is absolutely an actual problem, but ebooks isn't the issue there.)

My particular library doesn't have much of what I read - as a horror and fantasy reader preferring to read in English and not the native language of my country - so I try to use it for their non-book offerings and support that way. Libraries do so much more than just books.
