New tires = no stress this winter 😄 I literally said “I should book my pre-winter check” while at Tim’s that morning (next door to mechanic)… then got a flat. Suspicious 😉

What a day! Back to footcare, catching up with messages after, picking up my car with all new tires after the flat (Happy Birthday to me!) and circling to check in Mom after surgery (more importantly- we fed the cat!)

When the auditor general reported on hospital closures, she said the government wasn’t tracking the data properly.
Now it seems they are — they just aren’t sharing it.

Ontario tracks the data but only shares it when asked. There’s no public dashboard or database for anyone to see.

We also visited Ontario Power Generation’s waste management facility to learn how nuclear materials are handled safely and sustainably. The level of care and precision was impressive to see firsthand.

As a nurse, I was especially inspired by the team working on medical isotope production, which supports cancer diagnosis and treatment around the world.
Seeing how this local work saves lives globally was powerful.
