This is a 4x5.5 90-page journal I made today with a gift bag, recycled file folder, copy paper, book pages, linen thread, and art from a gallery ad. #bookbinding

I think of this as a grief journal. It is made of a gift bag, cotton thread, found art, manila folder, ribbon, and waxed linen thread. I used a pamphlet stitch for the fly pages, then a coptic stitch, so I didn’t have to sew on the cover. It is seven signatures and 140 pages. #bookbinding #grief
