He was a snake but at least he was a proto feminist.

Jefferson on the other hand...

Nothing says "common prayer" like every church following its own preferred liturgy

Its fun to see a Diocese of Montreal reference!

This is worrying. We can't afford to abandon our faith for our marginalized sisters and brothers in Christ.

When we lose the essence of what makes us Christian we lose the ability to provide them a home. What hope do we provide when we deny the resurrection and our reconcilation in Christ?

Cheers to the Yale Apostates for our common Anglican tradition from this Canadian Anglican!

That's a good idea. Although a cross-border organization may end up becoming overly TEC focused, considering there are just more Episcopalians than Canadian Anglicans. But it would help share resources.

I know the TEC for Renewel exists, but they're too associted with Redeemed Zoomer.

That's great! I was actually just browsing it when I clicked your profile

I absolutely agree. An organization dedicated to renewel and building the kingdom is a great idea.

I'm a bit hopeful about the guidelines that were approved this general synod; they may offer breathing room to study and respond to this.

But judging from what our Primate has said, I don't think he fully understands, or more worrying, fully cares about our decline.

I agree. It is a serious problem that we're both facing.

As a Canadian Anglican it is worrying. We must truly live in Christ, as his church, and act in this light.

We cannot concede decline. We must evangelise and reform internally. Part of this also must mean not becoming a wordly sectarian institution, while also avoiding reactionary instincts.

I get this. I'm from a lower-income background, and as such, my family nor I have owned cars, so public transportation is just a fact of life for us. So I always take the bus to church and it can feel alienating.

Praying for him and for all LGBT people in Wisconsin right now.

I respect nuance beyond the traditional narrative of the French Revolution, but I think as Christians, even Socialist Christians, we should try to avoid violence when possible.

Christ said his kingdom was not of this world. We must emulate his example, and avoid violence to secure our liberation.

I see you're offline through March, but I just want to comment on how much I loved your video on what do Episopalians believe.

Considering how bigoted Christian youtube can get sometimes, it feels comforting to see a Christian youtuber that's not that. :)
