Completely agree that "Fight the Power" almost ties the knot with the main theme of this film which was social injustice. Th film definitely amplifies the tensions that till this day, we haven't been able to get over.

I agree with the idea that the film made you feel uncomfortable. I also think it was giving you different perspectives so you can find the one you resonate with the most and see if you are "doing the right thing" by thinking that way. The directorial work influenced a lot in this.

Agreed, and I think it also be famous person testimonial. Previous to the collaboration she would always post herself drinking Dunkin Donuts. Since she would always consume this products, she is testifying that its good and everyone should have some.

Totally agree with the type of ad and with the fact that it was kind of off. Like another classmate commented, it was quite cynical that they portrayed a real issue being solved with their product. It puts a real problem to the side just to promote their product.

Although, it's "just" a meme, it's pretty accurate to the media situation we are currently. With election coming up, more than ever it is important to put Media Literacy skills to use and make sure we are digesting true information rather than fake news that is all over media.

This meme does shed light on a more recent media studies theme with AI. With this novelty there are still blurred lines about what is ethically correct when using AI to create media. The record labels vs AI music generators is a great example of this arising conflict.
