I've always used electric cooktops and when you've brought this up in videos I instinctively thought "hm I dunno about that" but I realize now it's so ingrained into me that I didn't realize that's what I was doing, e.g. turning off the burner before scrambled eggs are fully cooked

I think it is kind of strange they're doing a direct for switch 1 at all considering switch 2 is backwards compatible, but the switch 2 direct is in a week. Maybe something in that one will excite you :)

I'm kind of confused by this post. For the record I haven't watched any DuoLingo Bad videos, but to me the reason DL sucks isn't because it's not immersion learning. I would say the majority of my criticisms of DL don't at all apply to high school language class.
