Same, that's how I feel right now 😭
The vision of where I want it to go exists in my head, but then it gets lost along the way among too many other exciting ideas (or eye-deas, lol) until my original plan stops making any sense to me, and then my WIP just collapses like a house of cards.

That's to say, sorry it's taking me so long to write this part.

My brain gets lost in turning Ayumu's perception of reality upside down, in tying loose ends up with the patron, but I'm going a bit too crazy 😅
I should focus on getting the Verlassk resonator shit over with, simplify it.
More than anything, I just miss Xal, writing Ayumu-Xal interactions with you.

Reading back through my (way too many pages long) WIP, everything ceased to feel cohesive and right once again, and now I want to rewrite. Yet again.
I think the problem is that I'm trying to do too many things at once. I'm way too excited that the patron is here.

Our braincells aligned again, it seems, I've written a segment like this yesterday evening, but from Ayumu's perspective 😂 For her it's feeling extremely confusing sensory input from the most unexpected directions, as if some-thing with many eyes was rolling them all very rapidly and madly.

And then I end up at a point where I just have to accept that I wrote an abomination, no matter how it's interpreted or which eye or brain it is examined with, but I love that about Ayumu.
She's my caleidoscope of dreams and nightmares, madness and catharsis. Every color imaginable and unimaginable.

Which is why I love writing surreality and flipped perspectives for Ayumu's bizzare nightmares 😅
Playing with metaphors, taking them too literally, then too figuratively, then trying to find loopholes out of the mess, but no matter what you do or don't do, it’s an equally horrible yarn of insanity.
