...do you think NPC AI and generative ai are the same?? NPC ai is not stealing anyone's work nor taking anyone's job. generative ai voices are literally taking voice actor's future paychecks because now they no longer have to come back into the studio for more lines. its greedy and lazy.

i use kde plasma on my desktop, and sway on my laptop. kde is v traditional and i love it for that, and the minimalism of sway feels better on my laptop's smaller screen :>

literally the only interesting thing they did with the ai voices is the voice changer. its kinda interesting and (presumably??) runs locally on ur device. fun little gimmick that could only be done with genai. everything else feels like pure greed and laziness

but ive been trying to practice resonance and vocal weight. lots of guides everywhere on youtube explain it better than me tbh, but the only real tip is dont be like me and actually speak with trained voice regularly lolz
