I’ve long speculated this but I’m pretty certain Nola is partially or fully deaf. She doesn’t really respond to sounds and she doesn’t really make sounds herself. She just reacts when Ruby reacts. It hasnt hindered her at all but I think a vet visit for confirmation is in order

There’s a scene in wicked 2: more wicked where they show a “De-aged” jeff golblum and me, @antlervel.vet and @papapishu.bsky.social all cringed and went “EHH!!” all at once and I just found out it wasn’t cgi, it was another lookalike actor and now I feel bad
