My second Tricia McLaughlin “fact check”!
jackjenkins.me
A lot going on here, but a religion note: DHS Assistant Sec. Tricia McLaughlin refers to Rev. Black as a "pastor" here — using quotation marks.

It's a notable slight against a faith leader's status, as Black is, in fact, an ordained minister of a church operating within the Presbytery of Chicago.
This footage is from almost a month ago. What this clipped video doesn’t show is that these agitators were blocking an ICE vehicle from leaving the federal facility—impeding operations.

Over and over again, law enforcement ordered these agitators to move off of federal property so the vehicle could move. Law enforcement verbally warned these agitators that they would use force if they did not move and stop impeding operations. They did not comply.

Shortly after, rioters began throwing rocks, bottles and launching fireworks at the law enforcement officers on the roof.

At the time of this incident, this facility held criminal illegal aliens including gang members, drug traffickers, and other violent criminals. Obstructing law enforcement puts officers, detainees and the public at risk. If you are obstructing law enforcement you can expect to be met with force.

And, as an aside, this is the same “pastor” who flipped
@Sec_Noem
and our team the bird when we were there last week.

Incredible.

Jack Posobiec references the earliest version of antifa -- the anti-fascists in the Weimar Republic who were opposed to the Nazi Party -- as the bad guys.

Holy crap. Trump will make the FCC crucify Jimmy Kimmel for this.

This anti-DEI stuff arose because the #UTGOP and Governor Cox have been drinking deeply from the cesspool waters of C. Kirk and C. Rufo.

Much of Cox' rhetoric in recent years makes a lot more sense when considering that he has likely been consuming C. Kirk garbage, or at least a curated selections.

I should note here that the source of the problem is Utah's egregious anti-DEI law, which has left campus administrators with few good options in these circumstances
screenshot of this passage from the article linked in original post:
In a note to conference presenters and volunteers last week, Vice President for Student Access and Success Jessica Oyler explained that Unity Conference programming could not discuss what HB 261 defines as “prohibited discriminatory practice,” including “claiming that sociopolitical structures are inherently power struggles between groups, or suggesting that individuals are inherently privileged, oppressed, racist, sexist, or victims based on personal identity characteristics.”

This shit is getting beyond parody. The director of the university's "Basic Needs Center" is vetting individual students' slides in advance of public presentations!?! The event formerly known as the Diversity Conference is now called the "Unity Conference"!?!

Everyone can set aside partisanship, psychologizing, pathologizing, whatever, and—I would hope—still see that it’s incredibly dangerous for a political leader to be this disconnected from the real conditions in the country.

Breaking news: Nearly a quarter of FBI agents across the country are currently reassigned to immigration enforcement.

The large number of reassignments reflect a vast reshaping of the agency and could put other priorities at risk.

I love how Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House and #2 in line for the presidency, is always like, “What? News?! I never read or hear anything that happens in the world, anywhere. I’m totally offline. What even is ‘social media’? They play news all day on TV!? Wow! That’s a surprise!”

Q: Do you agree that the mayor of Chicago and governor of Illinois should be in prison?

MIKE JOHNSON: Should they be in prison? I'm not the attorney general. I'm not following the day to day on that

I’m guessing the commercial carrier landing fees at Denver exceed $155.
kashhill.bsky.social
This is absolutely wild. I’m on a cross country flight. We are being diverted midway through to Denver. The reason? Some dude is sitting in the exit row who didn’t pay the $155 fee and he refuses to move back to his seat.

NN: But there have been Rs sworn in during pro forma sessions

NN: So if she flies in her family you'd do it?

MJ: Again, it's a distraction
