Convenient. You say when you don't show up it doesn't cost your clients, not 1:1. But when I point out that it most certainly can, I'm changing the goal posts. Providers are only human. But you don't have the same regard for your only human patients. I guess you are the one who sets the goalposts.

Some, like my mother, have been compliant and timely patrons for over 30 years, only to be scolded for being 2 minutes late when she had an incontinence issue, as women her age often do. Save the 'tude. We're both retired RNs and I've been her 24/7 caregiver for the last 10 years. We know the score.

Yes, we are all human. You assume patients don't pay a financial cost if you don't show up. Some are missing work and afraid of being fired for doing so. Some have had to hire childcare.

Yeah. Funny how we can't charge a late fee when we have to wait for the Dr. for a couple of hours, much less a cancellation fee when the doc is out sick.
