A tech geek that will discuss just about anything: Technology, Business, Music, Movies with some politics sprinkled in for flavor.

I do follow back, I do engage, and I post way too often.
I also speak fluent sarcasm.

So yes, I do think I have a better insight than the president of the company. I'll wait while you try to remind me that Signal is non-profit, and I retort with something clever like "And how do you developers feed themselves".

If the trend then becomes leveraging LLM on some level in messaging apps then that's where Signal will pivot to. Telegram one of its chief rivals was flirting with Grok. Meta which has three apps on the market has Llama integration. I have the benefit of heighten pattern recognition.

Wow, straight to the name calling. No need to get hostile, but to answer your question - one doesn't have to be a genius to figure out the road map especially when the president has already tipped their hat as how they operated in the past. Signal went from a text message to a social app.

They will, likely be timing up with Anthropic's Claude or Perplexity, but its coming. The engineers have already began laying out the ground work for such support.

I didn't realize the error in my speech until you liked it. I meant to say, and if they are trained to answer but cant for whatever reason, it falls back to its primary objective, to be constant engaging. You see this when it offering follow ups constantly. The AI is priming for advertisers.

Actually the money is being split by three individuals, Elon, Trump and the 1% as part of the tax cuts. The states nor the residents will see a single penny of the 'savings'.

It's already being siphoned off.

They got trained to talk, to always be engaging, to deliver dopamine hits (just like every other app); and if the are not trained to answer the question, since their objective to helpful can't be achieved it sticks to its primary objective; to always be engaging.

The exchange isn't.

No, I hadn't. Remember I was only 5 when this movie first aired. I was today years old when I learned of this movie existence, but I will watch it after I am done with the movie.
June 16, 2025 at 12:46 AM
