That's basically what most laypeople sadly think history is.
At most, you also get graphs of armies moving on a map, and powerscaling of different swords.

I feel like it's impossible for one's own outlook on social issues not to be a feature on how they present history (that is to say, when they INTERPRET raw data, inaccessible to most laypeople).
But of course, the outdated Great Men rhetoric and so on doesn't count as rhetoric because it's not gay.

I finished annotating (most of) the translation with 8-4's assistance. I skipped a couple unfinished parts, but it's enough for the translator to properly start work on Monday! Yay!
