By characterizing abortion as health care, international orgs have pushed back against abortion exceptionalism. The World Health Organization recognizes that “[a]bortion is a simple health care intervention.” Numerous countries have adopted laws and policies to align with WHO recommendations.

Khanna: "The speaker looked frazzled last night. I think he's totally lost it. He's attacking the bill and he's not showing up to hear the survivors. The survivors wanted this bill. Then he's voting for a bill he criticized. And he's lost the confidence of half the people in his own caucus."

The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.

Don’t give up the ship.

This war feels endless.

Sometimes at night, when I hide from russian drones and missiles and my world is shaking with explosions, I imagine that somewhere it is a bright day, that people are living their normal lives, making vacation plans and thinking about the future.

Most of us have no idea how bad it is inside ICE detention centers because they have kept it hidden. Then a truth teller shows up and says it plain.

The conditions are filthy. The treatment is inhumane. The abuse is Systematic and routine.

I see no tragedy. An ICE person who helps disappear families is caught trying to hurt a kid, well well well. Hmmm, wonder who he voted for, wonder who he calls predators, All I see is a predator who also gets paid to be a rat. Im sure the folks at the jail will have fun with him.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.
