Plus, why go to such lengths for an AI to write a minimal OS, when you could do it from scratch and most likely make something better and worth putting on the internet?

As you know, AIs tend to hallucinate. Documentation or not, we wouldn't trust AI if our lives depended on it. Of course, we're not saying all AI is bad, but we're saying that fact-checking AI is the bare minimum anyone could do. It's really a matter of perspective, and not all perspectives align.

You could also do that, or you could just make an OS from scratch without cleaning up after the AI. Its a matter of time and not wanting to waste said time just debugging its code when you could make code that you know is perfectly working.
Perspective is key on this topic.

Just because you can build an OS with Claude (or any LLM), doesn't mean you should.
