Yikes! I generally love Costco but have never worked with their optical department... that sounds terrible. You should be able to take your signed prescription anywhere and use it to order contacts, including online. They have no right to interfere with you having a copy of your own medical records.

Additionally, who thinks boarding early is such a great privilege? I can't believe they charge more for it. The last thing I want to do is spend extra time sitting on the thinnest cheapest seats crammed inside a smelly flying tube.

I'm not sure if it's intentional or just part of my sample, but I also noticed the text for the years is a smaller font on presidents who were in office less than four years. Here's Washington and Lincoln.

Also interesting to note, the president coins have the years they were in office stamped on them. Well, I just happened to get one coin of the shortest-term president, William Henry Harrison, who died in office after just one month. He only gets one year listed.

I've always wanted a bathroom for my coats and a bedroom that is all cabinetry

In a pinch with bad/dead fans I've used a big box fan before, take the side panel off and put it there (leave a few inch gap since box fans are not good under static pressure).

"recreate the conditions of their broken homeland" - if that's the case, nobody should be letting US citizens migrate to their countries, we're more broken than ever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okay, usually the "click to view the end of the comic" thing annoys me, but THIS one was totally worth it xD

I absolutely love this design, but the screen printing on mine has worn out over the years.

Do you have any advice for keeping them in better shape? Or have you thought about switching to dye-sublimation or something similarly more durable?

They could at least bother to tell you what all changes they're making, why it's so important they cram it down your throat, but instead you're lucky to get a vague "security and performance :)". Then you're left with new issues, missing functionality, and features you didn't want nor ask for.

Obviously the choice isn't always so simple - we wear that mask so we fit in, we keep the status quo, make ourselves approachable and easy to digest. You rely on your art for income, and your choices directly impact your livelihood.

Whatever you choose, I understand, and you have my support <3

I'm not the only one who's tired of putting on a smile saying "I'm fine" every day when I'm not. I think we need to be uncomfortable more, confront those difficult feelings head-on. These are a normal part of the human experience, denying our internal realities wears us down and holds us back.

I can totally understand why you would move towards safe, easily digestible, comfortable content - many others have been doing the same.

Personally, I prefer the real stuff. Art that's raw and genuine; it's relatable, it's validating, it reminds me that I'm not broken, and helps me feel less alone.

My favorite is when you get the ones that have the extra toasty flat edges, it feels special, like finding a shiny.

If anyone is interested in advice on creating alternative accounts or ways to better curate your internet experience, I'd be more than happy to share what I've learned <3
