What good is gold? It is only good if you can get out to civilization to trade for a hard currency. It is very heavy to carry enough to support yourself. Buy food if you plan to stay and gems if you plan to leave. If you can plan for both do it.

Many people being abducted and sometimes deported are legal immigrants and a few citizens. Nobody should be exploited, fair enough. Also, no group should be terrorized. Legal immigrants & citizens are afraid to leave their homes. Not worrying about who picks crops is MAGA for, "Let them eat cake."

I'm glad to see you are feeling better.

There have still been inspections under NPT and they are not meeting those obligations. There were some facilities that have not been inspected lately and, more disturbing, others "sanitized" before inspection. Read for yourself. www.iaea.org/sites/defaul...

The IAEA reports are evidence. Those are the people doing the inspections. They have enriched hundreds of pounds from 20% to 60% in 2025 before mid May. The enrichment from 60% to 90% takes half the time. Trump appointees are incompetent. Why look to Gabbard?

Making up for having not met their benchmarks in the past. 9/11 was quite a while ago.
June 20, 2025 at 7:22 PM
That's part of the inspection prevention. They also have quite a bit of uranium enriched enough to make bombs, albeit heavy hard to deliver ones. This information does not come from Netanyahu. It comes from the experts.
June 20, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Read the IAEA reports. Iran has enough enriched uranium for several bombs (large, hard to deliver ones), has prevented inspections of several sits for years, and has sanitized sites before inspections.
June 20, 2025 at 3:07 AM
In the case of Iraq all of the experts told us that there were no WMDs. Now, the IAEA (the inspectors) confirms that they have enough enriched uranium, have prevented inspections at many sites for years, and have "sanitized"
sites that were inspected.
June 20, 2025 at 3:02 AM
Halting enrichment is step 1. The IAEA says they already have a lot of 20% enriched (minimum requirement) and quite a bit of 60% enriched. All of that has to leave Iran as step 2.
June 20, 2025 at 2:59 AM
I'm even more concerned with the IAEA reports not drawing the appropriate conclusions from their data so the reports can be understood by laypeople. Over 20% enriched, sites not inspected for years, and sites "sanitized" with evidence destroyed should all be ringing alarm bells.
June 20, 2025 at 1:59 AM
For many years they have not been pulling their weight in NATO. 5% may be too much on average, but they would be making up for underspending in previous years.
June 20, 2025 at 1:23 AM
All of the experts back then said there were no WMDs and if there had ever been ricin it was safely decomposed. Now, the IAEA says they are very close to having weapons grade enrichment and are in violation of their nonproliferation obligations.

Sell Israel the bombs and loan them the planes.

They are already painting the protests as violent. I'm being told that multiple cop cars and other cars were set on fire. I'm told that the one the flash bomb hit was in retaliation to a protester throwing a rock at a LEO. Get the footage out there.

Yikes! Get well soon.
June 7, 2025 at 8:48 PM
Actually, there aren't fewer people in Gaza. At least as many babies have been born as people killed in the war. Under 2% of the population in 18 months is pretty inefficient to be called genocide.
June 7, 2025 at 8:02 PM
I'd argue that you did not actually learn history, but rather myth. Yes, a few people were evicted, but the VAST majority left because they knew a war was coming. The Arab countries that would invade told them to leave. The Arabs who stayed and their descendants are now equal citizens.

Americans do not have the two things that are the true hallmarks wealth, leisure time and security. Europeans get 5+weeks of vacation per year vs. Americans two weeks if they are salaried or zero if they are not. They also get pensions and there is no possibility of being bankrupted by illness.
June 4, 2025 at 1:43 AM
We have more access to air conditioning and larger homes. We don't have spare time, pensions, or guaranteed health coverage. I don't think they are measuring the right things.

The people going to Immigration hearings are generally here legally. They are often on a path to citizenship. Many have an American spouse. Trump removed the protected status of people from some countries.

One president put one camel's nose under the tent and another president another. Over the years the camels peering in have .slowly increased. Trump is pulling in enough camels to remake "Lawrence of Arabia" all at once for no reason whatsoever.

Ugh! I hope your day gets better. I'll have a G&T for you this evening with a craft gin even better than Sapphire (hard to believe, but true or I would not have bought it).

The "emergency" powers is exactly what 45 is claiming now. Congress is too stupid/afraid/whatever to stand up and say it is not an emergency as the law allows. This is the first democracy in America. Most people I know are traumatized by the news.
