My dad had an old school indesctruble Casio whose alarms seemed to go off at random and you'd never be able to find the damn thing because he took it off in weird places and would forget about it.

What mineral? As long as it's harder than most objects, I'd imagine watches in this price range aren't running risk of getting scratched.
As for the time, that's interesting from a tech side, but I think I'm okay with adjusting the time. Especially if its use is occasional.

I appreciate that tastes differ but so much going on there on those Seikos. Also why is Hamilton making what looks like an ordinary field watch at that price range? If I go on a hike that's what my weekender is for. Something to get used and abused.

I mean there are more than they started with but absolutely there has been drawn down in LA.
Same thing unfortunately is likely the case here. We had ~150 statewide in Minnesota before Metro Surge. If we can get close to that number it would be a monumental victory (for now).
