For instance I started in a privacy one, then it went under. I was coding in ruby so I joined a ruby one then stopped so now I'm on a monero one.

With that said the one thing I don't like about the Fediverse is that it makes it seem like you have to pick your thing when you sign up but moving around is quite easy on it so it's not that important.
