The French dub of Revenge of Cronos that turned it into a sequel to Gobots was supposed to have 52 episodes, even more than the show it's dubbing, however the dub evidently didn't do well enough because it was cancelled after 35 episodes.

Sail Toys was the toy company responsible for the making of Robot Ride On. If Sail Toys made anything else then that is incredibly rare because as far as I could find there isn't anything else made by them.

Robot Ride On is the biggest piece of Gobots merchandise ever and even bigger than every other official Transformers toy since except for Haslab Unicron. The toy was also a working scooter.

Robot Ride On had no media appearances outside of a collage of Guardians made for... 2/3

A week ago, I did a poll to find who the most popular Gobot of the "weirdos" are (referring to officially licensed transforming merchandise that weren't part of the toyline and also the Wendy's Gobots) and the winner was Robot Ride On, I'm a bit surprised by the result but... 1/3

On top of this, despite not taking place on Earth and the characters not knowing about Earth (if it even exists in this universe), MANY characters in the show have alt modes that are 1 to 1 with real life vehicles.

In the Gobots pilot miniseries, the Renegades base wasn't a ship, but the Renegade Fortress on Gobotron, it was taken over by Guardians and in the main series they use the Rogue Star as their base starting in episode 7 although not explained till episode 41.

While Megatron has his Fusion Cannon, Cy-Kill has a Fission Cannon as established in The Robo Machines, Story 1 published as part of the Eagle magazine.

did appear in the Renegade Rhetoric collage image, which also is their only media appearance.

been found leading to the name being taken from an unlicensed release of the same toy. This may indicate it was canceled or never fully released, but there's no official way to know as of right now. The only Gobots identifier was a sticker on the toy.

The character... 2/3

Destroyer is a name shared by two Gobots, obviously the most famous being the Super Gobot the other "belonging" to an Arco figure. I put belonging in quotes because Destroyer happens to be one of the rarest pieces of Gobots merchandise with no in box examples have ever... 1/3

Despite continuing after this, Mecard only got one season in the West and the toyline was discontinued after Mattel, the toyline's exporter was banned from exporting the toys to America after being sued by Spin-Master for Plagiarism.

that were more focused on interacting with the regular toys in the line.

The Turning Mecard toyline also has size classes of figures, most of the toys were relegated to the smaller size class that transformed when they hit a card but there were also jumbo sized figures which were bigger but retained similar functionality, and Mega figures... 1/2

Turning Mecard was a South Korean cartoon that was brought into the United States as Mecard. It had a toyline that was Bakugan-Esque with toys that automatically transformed once they landed on a card, but unlike Bakugan they were vehicles rather than spheres.

In the Revenge of Cronos French dub, Revenge of the Gobots, which made it a Gobots sequel, had this character be renamed to be Fitor. Which fits in that he's one of the main villains' most loyal followers but also not fitting because, c'mon look at these "same characters."

the Gashapon molds that only released a year earlier and it would've saved them money to reuse them. (For comparison images Gashapon on the left, Choco-Corn on the right.)

There was a Gashapon and Choco-Corn line of mystery figures for Machine Robo, Gashapon for the 600 series, Choco-Corn for Revenge of Cronos. For some reason the versions of Jet Robo and Ambulance Robo were new molds for the Choco-Corn line rather than just reuses of... 1/2

Transformers Mochibots is a line of officially licensed plushies made by amiami. There is a new exclusive line of plushies, and one of them is Bugbite in his G1 Gobots design. He also receives a pin.

The Machine Robo Choco-Corn line of models consisted of 8 figures. Unlike the previous Gashapon where all of the models could transform in Choco-Corn with the series being split in half, 4 that could transform and 4 that couldn't (although it makes sense with the choices)

the other way around, which has no evidence backing that up, the rest of those claims either have so little backing they can't be found to be either true or false or so different from the film that it can't be proven whether or not he's lying.

Before Battle of the Rock Lords released, the film's writer Jeff Segal did an interview with Starlog Magazine where he claimed the film was inspired by Feudal Japan, had a 3 million dollar budget, and the toys were actually inspired by the movie designs rather than... 1/2
