You're absolutely right. I'm going through it now and it is both physically and emotionally draining. The hardest part is finding time (and permission from yourself) to self care. I didn't and ended up fracturing my ankle just getting out of chair because I was so physically and emotionally drained.

You'd have to believe magic exists if he'd be able to "Freeze rents. Free municipal buses. Free day care for all New Yorkers ages six weeks to 5 years." Who wouldn't love that? It's the actualization of his platform that will require some magic without having spent much time in nyc gov't realities.

That's true, but Democrats do it too. In the NYC race for mayor, Andrew Cuomo refuses to pronounce Zohran Mamdani's name correctly even when Mamdani corrects him. (*this is not an endorsement for either candidate)
