Kind of eh on the actual con but oooof Boston has a store with a ton of old train and transit stuff that’s a wonderland of trolley and heavy electric rail maps and books. Also Revere Beach is reachable by metro!

Finally made some progress on Sarai’s refurb this weekend
Eye blanks ended up being too big so I’ll just have to make my own but here’s a vague shape mockup. The head sculpt is great but the old sad/shy eyes just weren’t working

lol saw something about “easiest hear me out” characters on another and mine is by far Electra from Starlight Express. They can be damn near anything you want them to be depending on the incarnation, as long as it’s a fabulous bi electric locomotive

I had a “damn youths don’t know rotary phones” moment seeing this thing at a garden center and having no clue what it was. Looked up “short bellflower with six stamens” “short plant with big flowers” and similar before giving up and going home. (answer below)

I’m more referring to these new zodiac designs they seem to have been releasing in waves the past year or so. But the older ones also had some great cutesy designs of not typically cutesy creatures, I have the scorpion and snake from trades
