one of humanity's best features is our ability to creatively play with the unlikely and unexpected. AI will only ever do what's most likely and most expected and that's part of why your AI book and your AI drawings and your AI songs are complete trash and always will be
Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

yesterday i drew something and it didn't feel excruciating. i breathed through the first small frustration and then everything flowed really nicely. i guess i can still draw after all

when i was taking my comics history class last year, i discovered that a lot of old comics actually have fat characters. this surprised me, since a lot of modern comics and visual media in general don't have fat characters at all, even a side character or throwaway character.
