this person has repeatedly and clearly shared the overall sentiment, and people are not saying he lost because of his cancer. they're saying he should not have run because he already had serious health issues long before running, and this is yet another one.

I feel like that's a really uncharitable and jaded take. he's not a serious political streamer, that's never been his bag, so why wouldn't he express political opinions with a sense of humour? I don't think we should expect funny bald man to analyze Friedman during a round of Mario Party

like two days ago he responded to someone saying they needed a goth mommy to step on them by saying "no you need universal basic income and healthcare" completely unprompted lol. if anything he's gotten far more vocally leftie in the time I've been watching him
