Yeah the Bluesky Crockett people are worse than KHive was on Twitter.
She's absolutely the wrong person to run for statewide office in Texas and no it's not just a color/gender thing.

Other actresses/models have done ads glorifying the female form and have not been hated for it. Times have changed. We are always looking for someone to hate.
