Spooky movie rec day 10

I actually just now learned this was Mike Flanagan looking up the cover art, lol. Anyway, Absentia (2011), much like yesterday’s Relic, is a film that wears other themes on its sleeve (loss, in this case) while the horror simmers to a boil in the background. Creature feature

No, very little resemblance at all! I get comments like this about my girlfriend too. I wonder if men with men hear the same thing?

I do! But we’re only 4, maybe 5 episodes through Alien Earth. Rarely have time to watch 😭

It’s fantastic, lots of fun. One of the only games I know of that not only has a hidden traitor mechanic but a spreading one where the traitor can make more traitors secretly.

Day 9 spooky film rec.

Relic (2020) is an excellently shot, surreal slow burner that keeps dialing up the dread until even the rules of reality themselves shatter in a climactic, claustrophobic, liminal climax—and then a surprisingly strange, almost tender ending. Wonderful film

Not a bad idea actually, probably could on the inside

I’d almost prefer for it to be rigid, I’m afraid if I bend wrong it’ll unzip

It’s rather bold, tight, stretchy, and can’t be worn with a strapped bra
