This sign probably dates from 1920-1937 when Eddington and Smart lived at the Observatory. It survived nailed to the rafters in the loft of the SPO Building. Its in a very poor state, but we will do our best to conserve it. I'm also planning to put it on display for Open Cambridge on Friday!

The latest Journal of the BAA is now in the Library. I enjoyed reading Richard McKim's 'From the BAA Archives' section.

It surprising what you can find in an Astronomy library: Maupertuis / The Figure of the Earth (1738) Its a delightful little book about an expedition to Lapland to measure an arc of the meridian.

I've just put up the IoA authored papers for February. I don't normally have this much space left on the board. But February is a short month, and I could probably have spaced them out more!
