So the fact you came all the way to Japan to tell me these things makes me very happy I worked on the game all those years ago.

But this isn't a good use of your time, or theirs.

I do think academics have more important things to do than a system where they reply one by one to every potential reader who wants to read beyond the abstract.

'the only guaranteed EU funding for basic research from 2028 will come from the €31.5bn allocation from FP10 for the European Research Council, plus “minor contributions” from the collaborative windows and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, he said. The MSCA is expected to get about €10.5bn.' 1/2

Children loved to play with toys in #Roman times too: some 1,800 years ago, a child in Cologne was buried with a terracotta horse with a rider on wheels. It was certainly a much-loved which the child was also supposed to play with in the afterlife.

I adore this. FWIW, here is quite possibly my favourite poem in the English language: poets.org/poem/fern-hill

I just think that poetry needs some kind of linguistic structure to resonate with me. I'm not a fan of Rupi Kaur-style prose poetry.
