tldr success shouldn't be financial, but with how much emotional depth and artistry a story contains. while the entry level is higher than most games and attracts a small player-base as a result, it is absolutely one of the all time best games i've had the pleasure of experiencing

they're a studio i greatly respect because they found ways to still generate more income alongside whatever funds they've wracked for their kickstarter to deliver a more polished game than any of us expected really, and the story sure does hit despite the monetary return not being guaranteed

predictably being a sucker for artemy burakh and immediately choosing the options that'll get dankovsky to ally himself with him, just like how it was in the og game... i'm the happiest i've been
