Mainly in Scotland.
Be excellent to each other.
I've just watched Bill Forsyth's Local Hero and developed the theory that it is an adaptation of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness.

Which makes Peter Capaldi Lt. Col. Kilgore.

I am willing to accept funding to explore this area of film theory further.

AI proving here just how remarkably dim and misleading it can be.

Having checked Hansard Wiki appears to be correct on the existence of the 1888 Oaths Act.

MARMITE HOUSING???
A fair description of attitudes to Glasgow's post-war housing.

A new project collecting memories of the schemes, high-rises and tenements.

(my four months in the student block of the Red Road flats doesn't offer much lived experience)

If you have ever lived in a Glasgow scheme, high rise or tenement, this is for you
FOR volunteer Lise Mitchell Noble, hearing other people’s stories about Glasgow is a “a real privilege.”

New shoes day.

Decided it was time to change things up with a radical new look so I've gone square laced instead of diagonal.

I was invited to step into the Abyss.

Turns out the Abyss is a fine vessel with a friendly crew offering boat tours from Stranraer harbour www.facebook.com/share/1Cdb3f...

Wee thing flew into the window.

Moved it into a sheltered spot off the ground and gave it some bird seed. Observation continues

Ryanair said his bonus was close to €100m.
It's actually €23.50 but by Ryanair's definition that's close.

Walked by an ad for Edinburgh airport bus £8 open return.

So I checked:

Edinburgh City Centre to airport 8.7miles - 30mins

Glasgow City Centre to Airport 9.1miles - 16mins

Glasgow airport bus is £17:50 return.

Same distance, twice the price.

Win for cooncil buses!
