I certainly agree that they'll try, but I'm trying to hope for the best while preparing for the worst. I have plenty to be depressed about already, lol.

That's just a more interesting story than prosthetic limbs that bring full functionality back to the victims of tragic circumstances. At least as far as Hollywood is concerned.

It only creates a class divide if we don't work hard to make it affordable for regular people.

Both. If it goes right, all of our problems are solved. If it goes wrong, we all die. That's why it's a singularity.

That said, it's much farther away than the people selling it want you to believe.

I think the combination of transhumanism and VR will soon render gender obsolete.

Ready Player One demonstrated this even though Ready Player Two then showed how the author missed his own point.
