I'd rather look to interpret the meaning that's actually there than sift through pages of random nonsense hoping to find a coherent sentence.

I'm not trying to yuck anybody's yum here. I do understand that there's a magic to the stars aligning to make something cool and unexpected, and to making your own meaning in the random. But when that's the whole point of what you're doing? I can't relate to that.

"but the real universe is random" No it's not. Every single thing in a given biome has a history that reflects on everything else. Every rock, every flower, every animal is a result of countless factors that couldn't exist the same way anywhere else.

I'd take three planets that were invented with care and attention and perspective by a person who thought it'd be cool over a million technically unique planets where no conscious decisions were made. Every single time.
