Off the top of your head can you please give a few examples of Alito’s hypocrisy with his party presentation argument so I can have that ready to go at what should sure be a lively Christmas dinner. Thanks!

I think you’re a good congressman. If I lived in your district I would vote for you. You need to start making explicit what the ramifications for these actions will be. Same for Comey and everything else. That’s where D leadership is utterly failing. What will you do about it?! Tell us!

Different “what about” - what about the vehicle they chose for the nationwide injunction case? That was as bad a case to pick to do that in. They did it anyway.

That petition should be filed this weekend. Also Boasberg said it somewhere - nothing in this order stops him from initiating attorney disciplinary proceedings.

I will not vote for anyone who isn’t talking like this. Next step will be that I will not vote for anyone who isn’t taking action along these lines.

This take is clearly correct. And I won’t for anyone going forward who doesn’t talk like this.

This is a great article. I think Justice Kagan’s concurrence is correct. But she shouldn’t have written it. All that gets is a tweet from Ed Whelan saying see, the majority opinion isn’t partisan hackery, even Justice Kagan agrees. The MAGA justices aren’t going to pay her back for it later.

It’s great that the justices haven’t embraced the administration’s most batshit lawless acts - i.e., rounding up and deporting people without due process. Awesome. Thanks. That feels like low hanging fruit at this point. What else have they done to make anyone think that they aren’t complete shills?

Is there an argument that SCOTUS held only that it, and not lower courts, could issue preliminary relief to a not yet certified class?

Even Trump’s tweet implicitly recognizes how pretextual the dissent’s analysis is

If/when the gov’t defies this ruling, or any other one (including rulings that they are already in the process of defying), can you please map out what contempt proceedings might look like and what potential results of those proceedings could realistically be?

Can you please write FJM style posts for the NY Post’s bullshit editorials
