I just got several news alerts on my phone that Trump is threatening the Insurrection Act and send troops into Minneapolis.

Where is the empathy?, where is the humanity? Sorry I’m rambling on, just very sad

Another shooting by federal agents just happened again about 30 minutes ago in Minneapolis. So sad and angry about what’s going on in my city 😭

I don’t know what’s happening in this country, feels like I am in an episode of the Twilight Zone. I certainty never would’ve thought that a federal agent would murder a 37 year old mother mere blocks away from my office… my heart is breaking 😭😭

Unlike corporations where employees serve the CEO, government’s President is a public servant accountable to the American people. Trump’s focus is on self-interest, not the people.

So heartbroken because of what happened in my home state this week. The fact no one is safe anymore, not even CHILDREN is abhorrent, and hearing “thoughts and prayers” at this point is just offensive.

I’m heartbroken by the violence in my home state this week. This country can’t continue this way. I am with Mayor Frey.

I never imagined this would happen in my home state. It’s heartbreaking that such events seem normal now, and it’s not okay. Growing up, we worried about homework, not about not surviving school.
