I don’t blame Sanderson for moving quickly to wrap the story up, but I do kind of feel like not having Rand’s allies think he had completely gone insane after his epiphany was a missed opportunity.

Despite it being documented that Wheel of Time was pitched as a trilogy, despite Jordan starting with a 6 book contract from TOR and the end of Eye proclaiming it the first book in a series, people still claim it was written as a stand alone novel.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but AI datacenters are being built so that their owners can control what is perceived reality, same as any other form of media. This is capitalist consolidation of the internet and information itself.

I’m convinced that the real answer to “who killed Asmodean” is “one of the Forsaken” and Jordan didn’t care beyond that because it really didn’t matter.
It could have been Demandred, Messaana or Semirhage, and it would make no difference at all to the story.

The finale was incredible. Everything about Empire had me at the edge of my seat. The Foundation stuff was ok too. Thrilled to see they are getting a 4th season because I do not want it to end here.

Come to think of it, it’s bloody convenient that all seven seals ended up in the Westlands so they could be gathered up by the White Tower and none landed in Shara, Seanchan, Australia or the bottom of the ocean.
