Why are astronomical observatories been built at >5000m altitude in the Chilean Atacama desert? @ureichert.astrodon.social.ap.brid.gy wrote about this in the article "Atacama - dem Weltall so nah" in the December issue of "Sterne und Weltraum", where he also mentions AtLAST 🔭 🧪
