A 10th grader, so he's 15-16 years old.
This is 10th-grader Arnoldo Bazan.

A citizen.

Immigration agents grabbed him and put him in a chokehold.

"We're from the United States bro!' he screamed.

Agents took and sold his phone

And when he finally got home hours later, his shirt was ripped, he neck had angry, red welts, and he sobbed.

Some news: tomorrow at 9am, Ted Koppel + CBS Sunday Morning will air a two-part story on the devastating surge of full-time workers being pushed into homelessness.

I'll be interviewed along with two families from There Is No Place for Us. It would mean a lot if you'd watch and help spread the word.

"We should be prepared to defend the basic rights of *all* of Trump’s targets with our full strength. If a single person becomes disposable, anyone could become the next target...The innocence trap is dangerous because allegations of criminality have always been deployed to justify state violence."
It shouldn't matter if Trump’s victims have criminal records. If we only defend the “innocent,” the fascists will argue that their victim “was no angel.” An anti-fascist rhetoric that carves out exceptions for imperfect victims is a gift to our opponents.

What is a ‘criminal’ immigrant? The word is an American rhetorical trap | Jonathan Ben-Menachem
Labels like ‘gang members’ and ‘terrorist supporters’ are an easy way to make humans disposable

hill i been dying on is that externalization/outscourcing of migration detention is template for global policing, new bilateral trade agreements, and pillar of global & regional imperialism of this era.

what was normalized for migrants is boomeranging for "citizens" already also disenfranchised.
