Unpopular opinion: Happy to see that Trae seems to be a good family man but it’s clear that being a father is his number one priority. Which is fantastic but that lack of dedication is evident on the court.
Trae Young really has done nothing the last 3-4 off-seasons to get better, it’s just the truth of the matter.

He had the franchise to himself but didn’t take his craft seriously.

Will give him that his passing skills are great for his size but his turnovers and shots selection make that mute.

How many 1st round picks careers can Quin ruin?
December 28, 2025 at 4:10 PM
19 minutes for Zaach. Just bring him off the bench. Makes no sense to start him if you don’t trust him.

Bucks about to go on a run with their guy back and the Hawks about to be out of the playin picture. Maybe that will led to changes so oh well.

Folks trying to tell me Trae Young is at his bottom trade value but I think it’s only going lower from this point. At least he is scoring decent now. Are we waiting for his defense to improve? lol, come on now

Get what you can and get off this timeline.

The player that Quin couldn’t find a way to us effectively all last year
Which unheralded #Sixers player has impressed you the most?

I’ll go first. Dominick Barlow.

Assessment of Onsi’s off-season:

Good: NAW signing, the trade, trading back and still getting NAW, flexibility

Bad: gambling on KP, singing Luke, trading away Bufkin and signing Wallace, not being on the same page with Quin on back end players
December 27, 2025 at 5:43 AM
Think the main issue is that Quin bet his career on Trae and now the players know that it is a lost battle.

1) Quin and Trae got to go.
2) A young coach like Ryan Schmidt needs to take over
3) Onsi and new coach need to have the same vision on team construction
It’s Ryan Schmidt time.

Quin can go back to vacation in the new year.

Everyone player on the Hawks has regressed in some aspect of his game and I’m supposed to not think coaching has anything to do with it.

Trae really didn’t adjust his game over the years while seeing the league pass him by.

Was at or above Brunson/Mitchell great small guard club but he is no where close to it now. Really sad to see.

While teams like the Spurs and OKC acquire players and amplifying their strengths.. Hawks are getting players and trying mold them into the coaches pre-determined roles.
December 26, 2025 at 2:12 PM
It’s basically a must win today for the Hawks. Hope they play like that.
December 26, 2025 at 12:50 PM
Quin is the same place as McMillan was, just unable to utilize the team to their fullest with out dated philosophy.

It’s time for a younger coach that is know for their analytical and new age thinking.
December 25, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Glad that folks are seeing Quin for what he is, a fraud that won with a great in his prime run protector and one of a kind scorer. And even then went into the playoffs and blew it bc of his inflexible ways. Utah fans were right about him.

I’m over the Quin experience too.
December 24, 2025 at 1:58 PM
Onsi needs to use the flexibility he has built up to get bodies in. Quin might not use them but it’s getting bad out there.
December 23, 2025 at 6:05 PM
And it continues
The last two weeks of basketball has been bad case for the Hawks, on their end and the Pelicans.
December 23, 2025 at 3:18 AM
Imagine trading two rotation players and 2 swaps for a SF then benching him for a 2nd year SF in less than 1 year.

We appreciate you Hunter 🫡

Hope Quin uses Dyson being out as a way to experiment with new lineups bc lord knows he doesn’t outside of injuries.
December 22, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Hawks also need to wave both year long injured two-ways and get some back end upgrades.
December 22, 2025 at 12:46 PM
Still can’t believe how this gimmicky Hawks defense has been exposed and nothing is being made to adjust. Just play harder is clearly not the answer.
December 22, 2025 at 12:42 PM
I’m done with the Trae Young experience.

The last 5 minutes when he was attacked on defense repeatedly without resistant and then taking that last shot hoping for a foul was my breaking point.
December 22, 2025 at 12:31 AM
80 plus points in the 1st half is craziness
December 21, 2025 at 9:40 PM
NAW has 5 minutes thus far, same as Mo.
