Forgot my thermos and had to settle for a much smaller one in the community cabinet in the breakroom. So many more steps added to my day to refill the dang thing but at least I'm hydrated.

In a world of really disheartening news I want to share something positive.
This old man was diagnosed with Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC) in October 2023 and given an estimated 2 months to live. He is still very much with me being a little furry nuisance.

1 of my fav lazy bulk cooking methods is getting whatever veg is on sale, running them through the food processor, stirring them in a giant bowl with seasoning, add beans, (sometimes flour/breadcrumbs) and toss in the oven to bake. Lasts a week and different each time but a tad ugly

Pro tip I thought more folks were aware of: when you finish a batch of pickles, olives, etc you can add some pressed tofu to the remaining liquid give it at least a few hours to absorb that brine and 😋

I've got plenty of Soylent since I always forget to push my subscription back if I have too much, but I prefer eating a meal over drinking it so... Soylent "pudding" (more overnight oats but similar texture), nice change up from my Soylent no bakes.
