My sanity demands that I get outside everyday and today to again be of service with Green Snohomish cleaning up along the river before it rises. I feel powerless sometimes thinking about politics and picking up trash and taking care of a small space clears my head. 💚🌲

My sanity always demands movement, especially swimming, 4-5 days/week, 40 laps. It clears my head. I can’t process chaos and bullshit very well if the mind and body feels stuck. 💙🏊🏻♀️

Some days my sanity demands I get out and find a geocache or three. Today’s adventure had me climbing down under large logs and root balls to grab that sucker! Took me 45 minutes and several curses to claim that victory! Pretty dirty and only a tiny scratch. Now it’s easier to take on the shit! 💚🌲

My adult Children and I have agreed that we will not buy Christmas presents this year (to our credit, we are minimalist with regards to christmas). We will do a family donation to local food banks. This is not a virtue signaling but an idea to share. We have too much stuff and don’t want more. 🎄
