Basically only the three left-hand ribbons in the top row stayed put, and everything else got moved around.

Also, the bottom right ribbon in Claw Marks is red and white, but in the game (where it's row 2, column 3) it's red and yellow.

Here's my crude attempt at a colorization:

It looks like in the Claw Marks manual, an upward diagonal is red, a downward diagonal is green, horizontal lines are blue, crosshatching is black, and vertical lines are yellow/orange.

By that metric, it looks like some of the ribbons are in different places.

It's not useless! The hatching is done with different directions according to different colors. Probably based on the typical practice for black-and-white illustrations in heraldry, though the specific color/line associations are different.

And another one because I couldn't resist.

Everything important on the background is contained in this 128-pixel range, much like the art in Indy Last Crusade. It's possible the background started at that height and was expanded later.
