The issue is that we already have deeply inaccessible infrastructure and the little accessibility that we have is being exploited for profit (and made less accessible as a result)

for instance: a parent pushing a stroller and a ♿ user meet at a sidewalk like the one shown above. They can talk to each other and determine the best course of action, be it one backing up until they can wait in a driveway or carefully squeezing past each other without pinching fingers.

a major factor in this is that for the bot, disabled people are just an obstacle. For human beings, disabled people are other people who simply need more space/time/whatever. a robot is self-serving in how it moves and is incapable of making decisions outside of its objective.

a human being pushing a cart can see a wheelchair user and move out of the way. the bots are a genuine issue for wheelchair users (coming from a wheelchair user). if you dont need a wheelchair, i suggest you dont say that accessibility isnt a problem here. it is.
