100% facts? This is nonsensical. Think about what you are saying. Police arrest bad people every single day, does that mean you should have no rights and that they can search, detain, arrest even kill people for any reason, without cause? With zero oversight?
January 13, 2026 at 8:42 PM
They are, sadly. These channels don't try to post too much bad news, but it's not a good time on the front line right now.
January 13, 2026 at 5:09 PM
How the fuck is this army taking so much ground right now.
January 13, 2026 at 3:35 PM
Amazing how protestors in one eye are freedom fighters, and in another are "domestic terrorists"

Why is Canada being roped into this? Right now the greatest national security threat to Canada is the United States 😂
January 13, 2026 at 3:33 PM
Quite possible this is going on but this is a dubious source to say the least.

It's an editorial, so in usual fashion they accept zero responsibility. Under every article they write "The views expressed by contributors are their own and not the view of The Hill"

China? That is really laughable. They can't even invade Taiwan, never mind a country on the other side of the world. Funny joke.
January 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM
Why? You're not being serious. Done arguing with clowns.

Which is why the funds will be declared "sovereign property held for diplomatic purposes" which blocks those companies from suing over the money. People still falling for the con, I see. Good luck with that.
January 11, 2026 at 6:36 AM
No, and if that was true we wouldn't be importing it to begin with. Logistically, you can't fill that gap with Canadian oil, not without major pipeline projects (which won't happen) and Saudi oil is significantly more expensive to import. You are oversimplifying now.
January 11, 2026 at 6:32 AM
And what you think that's owed to the US government? We don't nationalize oil, which means those debts belong to Exxon and Conoco for the most part. Are you claiming that we are voluntarily paying them back with the oil revenue we're stealing?
January 11, 2026 at 6:25 AM
You've explained the problem. Nothing I said was misinformation. Without the kind of heavy crude that comes from VZ, our refineries would be at a deficit. So we do need it, and gas prices depend on it.
January 11, 2026 at 6:19 AM
Okay, right, we're just collecting on a 50 year old debt. Tell yourself whatever makes it feel good. Exactly the kind of "what's ours is ours!" justifications the Russians are using right now.
January 11, 2026 at 6:11 AM
Trump has already commented many times about the possibility of further attacks and boots on the ground. You're not only not keeping up with the news, you don't even seem to be listening to it. Using cover stories to mask the real reason for military action is exactly what happened in Iraq.
January 11, 2026 at 5:54 AM
And yet US oil supply cannot meet it's own demands. It's the #2 oil importer in the world, behind China. So your logic collapses on itself. Removing influence is one thing, seizing their oil supply and stealing it for yourselves is another.
January 11, 2026 at 5:51 AM
Ah more propaganda from the Might is Right crowd. Just like "Iraq WMDs", you expect others to believe Venezuela is about anything other than taking oil. Sad to see nobody learns from history.

If there's anyone Iranians hate more than the Ayotollah, it's America. Consider carefully the idea of America trying to be their champion.
January 10, 2026 at 8:42 PM
Perfect time for a Team America World Police sequel.
January 10, 2026 at 6:05 PM
It's valid criticism. Millions of people who voted for Biden, voted for Trump. How did Trump win Arizona, but not Kari Lake? You have Dems that split-ticket voted Trump and Gallego, total opposites on the political spectrum. Why? Something is broken in people's minds and it shouldn't be dismissed.

In all fairness, Italian soldiers would really not contribute much.
January 9, 2026 at 4:56 PM
China has no discernible presence in the North Atlantic and that is unlikely to change, probably ever. Russia has been completely neutered in the last few years. What the fuck are they talking about?
January 8, 2026 at 4:36 AM
And we're only 1 year into the term... it will only get worse, believe me.
