I agree I hate 10 episode seasons. I understand if they want to do overarching narratives like they did for discovery, shorter seasons are good. But for an episodic series like SNW where you need to also really get to know the characters, 10 episodes seems way too short

Yeah that definitely wouldn’t surprise me, but I don’t have much faith in next season either considering they’re doing a puppet episode… for some reason

I don’t disagree on that point, specifically with regard to SNW’s 3rd season. I appreciate that they’re trying different things, but none of them really ring true to the franchise to me, and most of the show is “Spock’s-love-interest-of-the-week” because Ethan peck looks good.

He can’t believe that… if he actually believed that he’d have requested a recount in 2020 instead of bitching about it for 4 years and using it as a campaign platform.

I was also raised on teen dramas, I’m not sure what it is about this poster, it just seems inauthentic to me… maybe not inauthentic so much as too much of a direct homage to the genre. That isn’t to say I won’t watch the show, at least check it out. (I’ll probably like it) the poster threw me off

That’s what I thought too. It’s odd too because I’m a big fan of shows I watched when I was younger like Beverly Hills, 90210 🤣 like I said though, the poster just seems cut and paste to those kinds of 90s-early 00s dramas with a Star Trek logo on top.

I don’t even know what to think about the show after seeing the poster. I know they said they were going for younger cw like audiences but i didn’t think they’d be so blatant with it in the ad campaign
