i find a lot of safety in knowing that i own a solar panel and the cables necessary to charge my car even if every other option fails me, given enough time. meanwhile gas is only good for so long, and requires such a long process from start to end product... like electric is Literally more reliable

i was so ready to pay for emergency surgery for this poor guy. i wish i couldve gotten there sooner. i miss him and i knew him for an hour

he wasnt microchipped. but he was well fed and looked clean enough to be a pet, so now all i can think is his owner may still be waiting for him to come back home.

even as i held him afterwards to take him to the emergivet for... disposal, it was so hard to accept he was dead. he was still warm. he seemed so comfy and floppy in that towel hammock i carried him in.

he couldnt. Move. like his limbs twitched and stretched out but it was clear he wasnt in conscious control of his body. he tried to meow towards the end but couldnt. he died in the few minutes it took for me to run inside and grab cash. i can only hope he found some comfort in the towel he was in

i instantly panicked and wrapped the poor thing up in a towel and set him up as comfy and cozy as possible in my passenger seat, and rushed to grab some cash from home cause the emergivet would definitely be expensive even if they just did a euthanasia
